Credentials: I have been affiliated with Community Music School as a music teacher for many years and have led workshops in dulcimer, Irish tenor banjo, and singing at various bay area festivals. Ph.D. Folklore Studies
Year began teaching: 2001
Specialities: Irish session tunes. Please note I love bluegrass/old time 5 string banjo - but that's not what I teach!
Other information: I have played in sessions for years in California and made trips to Ireland to study banjo at Willie Clancy week, Feakle festival etc. Also perform with the Irish band Dance Around Molly.
